Administrative Services
Administrative Services Consist of The Mayor, the City Clerk, The City Treasure, Community Development and Planning, and the City Attorney working as a team to manage all public programs and policies to ensure their effective execution for the benefit of all citizens.
Mayor
the Mayor is elected by the citizens and acts as the Chief Executive Officer('CEO) of the city. The Mayor keeps the city financially secure, makes sure essential city services are maintained, and is always working to provide for the future. Along with the rest of Administrate Services Team, the Mayor is responsible for ensuring the policies and directions of the City Council are implemented. The Mayor also serves as the presiding officer of the City Council. The Mayor manages the City Council agenda and presides over its meetings.
City Clerk
The City Clerk is elected by the citizens and has custody of all laws and ordinances passed by the City Council, the Clerk shall keep a regular and accurate journal of all city council proceeding. The City Clerk is also Keeper of the City Seal.
City Treasurer
The City Treasurer is under the direction of the Mayor and is appointed by the City Council. The Treasure manages the city's finances, including revenues, taxes, fees, and funds. The Treasurer submits monthly financial reports to the city council, maintains accurate accounting records, and approves funds for disbursements.
City Attorney
The City Attorney is Elected by the citizens. The duties of the City Attorney is to represent the city in legal matters, advising city officials on legal matters, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
Community Development & Planning Director
The Community Development Director serves as a department head and is appointed by the Mayor. The duties include overseeing day-to-day operations of the city, advising the mayor daily on city matters, and developing and implementing policies and procedures.
